Six Habits Of B2B Marketers Who Continue To Innovate


Let’s face it if B2B marketers don’t continue to innovate – who will? Here are the six Habits Of Marketers Who Continue to Create:

1- Home Room

Create the environment to make you want to create – whether it be at home or the office. We’ve just moved into our new home and after the first three weeks of unpacking and testing everything works – my wife and I have now worked together to set up the areas to bring some creative thought and inspiration.

Remember back in high school this was called “Home Room” – the first 20 minutes of the day was spent easing in, planning and taking it easy. So this will be my priority for 2015 – to spend some time every day – contemplating, relaxing and finding inspiration.

2 – Brainstorm

Some of my best ideas come from having coffee and chatting away. Having some fun, breaking out of the office, and opening up. Doing this with my team and agencies allows creativity to emerge. From a spark comes the flame and in marketing – the spark is all that matters.

3 – Relax

Take some time out for yourself. Talk a walk. Allow your mind and body to relax. Exercise. Get active. Go for a jog. Clear your mind.

4 – Exercise

Get active. Go for a jog. Clear your mind.

5 – People

Surround yourself with positive people. The right people will take your higher. They will motivate and inspire you. And this is where the learning continues.

6 – Listen

Listen to understand not to respond.
